International Overdose Awareness Day
August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day, a day of reflection on the lives lost to overdose as well as a global call to action for the prevention of overdose. IOAD was first celebrated in 2001, but remains an integral celebration, not only for those in the recovery community and with those directly affected by overdose, but for all of us.
Overdose continues to ravage lives and harm communities around the globe.
