Licensed clinicians deliver integrated treatment, care coordination, and prevention-focused supports that promote emotional well-being, family wellness, and long-term recovery through collaboration with schools, providers, and community resources.

Moving beyond traditional treatment models, FLACRA Mental Health Services (FMHS) address not only the mental health needs of adults & children, but also the wellness of the entire family unit. By integrating targeted care management and coordination of care, we provide education and resources for future prevention and total wellness. FLACRA has a family-centered approach to care, which ensures that individuals receive the proper attention while the entire family gains the tools and resources needed to support their recovery journey.

School Based Support
FLACRA operates mental health treatment satellite clinics at Dundee Middle School and Geneva Middle and High School, and a substance use treatment clinic at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Licensed professionals provide onsite counseling, preventive education, and early intervention during the school day to help students develop healthy coping skills and make positive choices. Referrals typically come from school staff, though families may contact guidance departments. Participation is voluntary, and families retain the right to decline services.

Care Management (CHHUNY)
FLACRA’s Care Management program assists individuals with chronic medical, mental health, and/or substance use disorder conditions through care coordination and community-based services. Care Managers coordinate appointments, promote provider collaboration, and support wellness and self-sufficiency, while facilitating access to housing, food, childcare, and transportation. Children’s Health Home of Upstate New York (CHHUNY) focuses on children and families, helping eligible Medicaid youth with complex needs navigate healthcare and social systems through individualized, family-centered care management.
