FLACRA Has 100+ Certified Naloxone Trainers

FLACRA assures that every staff member is trained in Naloxone, also known as Narcan, delivery.

Naloxone is an opiate antidote. Examples of opioids are: fentanyl, heroin, and prescription pain pills like morphine, codeine, oxycodone, methadone, and vicodin.

When a person is overdosing on an opioid or heroin, breathing can slow down or stop, and it can be very hard to wake them from this state. Naloxone can block the effects of opioids/heroin and reverses an overdose.

SAVE LIVES.

If an opioid overdose is suspected, call 911 immediately and ask for emergency medical help. Do this before administering NARCAN® Nasal Spray — it is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical care.

As soon as the 911 call is made, lay the person on their back, and administer NARCAN® Nasal Spray as quickly as possible.
