Finger Lakes Area Counseling & Recovery Agency (FLACRA) has received national accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Peer Recovery Support Services (CAPRSS)—becoming the first organization in New York State to achieve this honor. This 3-year accreditation reflects FLACRA’s commitment to evidence-based, person-centered care and recognized best practices in peer recovery services. FLACRA’s Connections Rounded Recovery, a Recovery Community Outreach Center, offers peer-led programs rooted in dignity, empowerment, and real-world recovery outcomes.

FLACRA Achieves National Accreditation for Peer Recovery Support Services and Training Program
Finger Lakes, NY – 03/2025 – Finger Lakes Area Counseling & Recovery Agency (FLACRA) is proud to announce that with its Recovery Community Outreach Center (RCOC), Connections Rounded Recovery, it has been awarded a three-year national accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Peer Recovery Support Services (CAPRSS). FLACRA is the first organization in New York State to receive this distinguished recognition.
This achievement underscores FLACRA’s commitment to evidence-based practices and delivering high-quality, peer-led recovery services rooted in integrity, accountability, and person-centered care. The CAPRSS accreditation process evaluates programs based on rigorous standards including recovery principles, ethical service delivery, peer leadership development, governance, and service oversight.
