Housing Supports
FLACRA’s integrated housing support team is available to assist adults and families experiencing homelessness, particularly those with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. A part of our holistic healing network, our housing support team helps individuals secure stable and affordable housing, providing a crucial foundation for their recovery journey.

Supportive Living
FLACRA’s Supportive Living (SPLV) program provides individuals struggling with substance use disorders the support they need to work towards long-term recovery. The semi-structured living environment provides 24-hour on-call apartment living in which residents continue, with the help of group and individual counseling, to work on the major goals in their recovery care plan. Services include group counseling, outpatient treatment, and vocational education services.
We offer 73 OASAS Certified beds for adults and single parents with children throughout Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates County. Candidates must be working toward long-term recovery from substance use disorders. Sobriety and other factors are considered on a case-by-case basis. Progression towards Independent Living through multiple housing options is supported and encouraged in the Supportive Living program. Residents participating in FLACRA’s Supportive Living program must adhere to scheduled treatment programing and a weekly therapeutic group schedule.

Independent Housing
FLACRA’s Independent Housing program helps homeless or individuals with a substance use disorder or mental health diagnosis find safe and affordable housing. Housing options include independent permanent housing and community support services, Veterans housing, Office of Temporary Assistance, and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development sponsored housing.
FLACRA offers 42 scattered apartments throughout the Finger Lakes area and 17 apartment available to Veterans experiencing homelessness or struggling with substance abuse or mental health disorders.
Residents in FLACRA’s Independent Housing program are offered a full range of vocational rehabilitation services, from vocational assessments and work readiness programs, to support with job placement and retention. These vocational services are designed to assist individuals with honing and developing their skills and providing them with resources and guided support to help them navigate their re-entry into the workforce.

Affordable Independent Housing for Seniors
Located in Geneva, Town Side at Pre Emption offers low-income subsidized apartments with support services for seniors who meet eligibility requirements. One- and two-bedroom apartments are available. Find out more information and discover if you qualify by clicking on the link below.
Vocational Services
FLACRA offers a full range of vocational rehabilitation services, from vocational assessment and work readiness to job placement and retention. Services include assistance with resume and cover letter writing, navigating the job search, and completing job applications. Access to further educational, training, or GED programs is also supported. These services are designed to supply individuals with the skills and resources they require to re-enter the workforce.
