Independent Housing
FLACRA’s Independent Housing program helps homeless or at-risk individuals with a substance use disorder or mental health diagnosis find safe and affordable housing. Housing options include independent permanent housing and community support services, Veterans housing, Office of Temporary Assistance and HUD housing.
Our programs are funded through OASAS, FLACRA and Shelter Plus Care. Through these programs, we offer 42 scattered apartments. In addition, we offer 17 apartments to homeless or at-risk Veterans and their families in the Cadence Square Apartments located on the VA campus in Canandaigua.
We offer a full range of vocational rehabilitation services, from vocational assessment and work readiness to job placement and retention. These services are designed to assist individuals with skills and resources to re-enter the workforce.
Affordable Independent Housing for Seniors
Located in Geneva, New York, Town Side at Pre Emption offers low-income subsidized apartments with support services for seniors who meet eligibility requirements. One- and two-bedroom apartments are available.
