Cadence Square Project Overview
Cadence Square Services Include: a fifteen-bed Community Residence licensed by the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services. This program is recovery-oriented, providing substance abuse services and supports, and mental health stabilization. An eight Supportive Living units provide eleven Veterans with supportive transitional housing with recovery-oriented services that enhance independent living skills and readiness for employment and community re-integration. And a seventeen apartments (13 one-bedroom units, 3 two-bedroom units and 1 three-bedroom unit) that provide permanent, affordable housing for Veterans and their families coming from the community residence or supportive living programs, or from the community. We accept HUD and VASH Vouchers as rent.
Development costs for the Cadence Square project totaled $11 million dollars. Funders include: NYS Housing Trust Fund Corporation, NYS Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR), NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) - Homeless Housing Assistance Corporation, NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), Key Community Development Corporation, KeyBank, Inc., and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Cadence Square provides Veterans an opportunity to live in a safe, affordable, supportive environment that brings about outcomes that includes but not be limited to discontinued substance use and long-term recovery, self-sufficiency, reduced hospitalizations, increased employment, family reunification all while living in nurturing, healing and beautiful surroundings.
